Many have been recorded and performed by several singers internationally, and on a CD released of them entitled <I>Entre Palabras</I> (<I>Between Words</I>). Performers reported their delight at the freedom of interpretation and presentation that an absence of text gave them, and critics and audiences responded enthusiastically, whatever their language or culture. The experience led me to conceive of the possibility of a textless opera, how theatre can thrive despite an absence of words, and still communicate succinctly about human action and feeling, through voice and theatre.</div> <bR> <bR> <div> Samples also available with other performers on a CD: </div> <div> <A HREF="id21.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="Publications"><U><I>Entre Palabras</I></U></A><A HREF="id21.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="Publications"><U> (Quindecim QP134).</U></A></div> <div> They have been performed by these and other singers in the UK, Mexico, Colombia, New York and Europe.</div> <bR> <div>      And the title?
